Diane F. Oliver

Diane Oliver, age 77 of Kettering, OH, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, November 20, 2019 at her residence. She was born August 31, 1942 in Cincinnati, Ohio to Thomas and Claire (McCloy) Poe. Diane married Lee Oliver on June 15, 1963 at Ascension Catholic Church in Kettering.

Diane graduated from Kettering Fairmont High School in 1960 and was the Church Secretary at Ascension Catholic Church for 30 years. She was a life member of the Shamrock Athletic Club in Dayton, life member of VFW Post 2800 in Dayton and a member of AMVETS 2003 in Kettering. Diane enjoyed going to the casinos and spending time with her friends and family. She loved her family dearly and will be greatly missed by all.

Diane is survived by her husband of 56 years, Lee; two daughters, Toni (Dan) Schafer and Jennifer (Jack) Heinlein; two sons, Tim Oliver and Jeff Oliver; nine grandchildren, Brandon (Jennifer) deRoziere, Kathleen (Stefan) Gauder, Alexander (Laura) deRoziere, Robert (Tiffani) deRoziere, Emily (Travis) Meyer, Cameron (Shelby) deRoziere, Jessica Schafer, Samantha (Aaron) Wood and Hunter Heinlein; thirteen great grandchildren, Kylie, Evelynn, Calvin, Lucas, Lydia, Atlas, Cecilia, Clark, Bonnie, Vincent, Dean, Megan and Henry; two sisters, Connie (Bob) Holtvoigt and Mary Beth (Rick) Gouge; a brother, Tom (Judy) Poe; and other numerous family and friends. She is preceded in death by her parents; a sister, Peggy Schuer.

A visitation will be held on Monday, November 25, 2019 from 9:30 am to 11:00 am at Ascension Catholic Church, 2025 Woodman Drive, Kettering, Ohio 45420. A Mass of the Christian Burial will follow the visitation at the church at 11:00 am. Burial to follow the Mass at Calvary Cemetery, Dayton, OH.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made in Diane's name to Heartland Hospice, 580 Lincoln Park Blvd #320, Kettering, OH 45429.
