Karen J. Grimes
November 27, 1946 — September 6, 2019
Karen J. Grimes, age 72 of Beavercreek Ohio, passed away 9 Sept 2019 at the Preserve of Beavercreek Alzheimer's Special Care Center.
She had a Bachelors degree in nursing and had a fulfilling career in nursing including working Labor and Delivery at Wright-Paterson Base Hospital and Drug and Alcohol Consulting at Wright Health.
She enjoyed sewing, home decorating, her dog and cats and her garden. She was preceded in death by her parents, Roger Williams Pratt and Ethel Lois Pratt.
She is survived by her husband Rodney, her children Nadelka (Edwin), Joanna (Jacob), Michael and Kevin (Marge), her grand-children Isaiah, Azavier, Calvin, Anthony and Liliana and her sister Darlene (Larry).
A memorial gathering will occur Saturday, 5 October 2019 from 1-3 PM at the Newcomer Beavercreek Chapel, 3380 Dayton-Xenia Rd, Beavercreek Ohio 45432 with a service at 1:00 pm.
Burial will occur at David Cemetery in Kettering, Ohio.
A special thanks to all the staff at The Preserve of Beavercreek as well as Hospice of the Miami Valley Foundation who provided her with loving care and comfort.
