Alfred L. West, Jr. age 44 of Dayton, passed away Saturday, August 24, 2019 surrounded by his family and friends. He was born April 23, 1975 in Dayton, Ohio the son of Alfred West Sr. and Ruth Vanderpool.
Alvie was a honorary member Run of the Mill streetroders. He was passionate about American Indians and trains. He enjoyed riding his Honda and side-by-side. Alvie could light up a room with his smile and his winning personality could charm anyone.
He was preceded in death by his father, Alfred L.West Sr.
Alvie is survived by his mother and step-father, Ruth and Jay Vanderpool; sister, Samantha Herte; brother, James West; aunt, Lillian (Melvin) Balfourd. He is also survived by numerous family and friends.
Visitation will be held Thursday, August 29, 2019 from 9:30 am to 10:30 am at Newcomer North Chapel (4104 Needmore Rd., Dayton, Ohio 45424). Service will follow at 10:30 am.
