Donald R. Hill, "Donnie," age 62 of Dayton, passed away Thursday, August 22, 2019. He was born June 15, 1957 in Dayton, Ohio, the son of Donald and Claudia (Tavner) Hill.
He is preceded in death by his son, Shawn Hill; father, Donald R. Hill; grandparents, as well as numerous aunts and uncles.
Donnie is survived by his wife of nearly 44 years, Roberta; son, Howard Hill; daughter-in-law, Sarah; grandchildren, Lauren, Chase, Addison; mother, Claudia Hill; sister-in-law, Patty (Steve) Dove; brother-in-law, Ty (Melissa) Conley; as well as numerous family members and friends.
Donnie was employed with the City of Dayton Water Distribution since March of 1979. He began as a Laborer and moved up to Supervisor, during his 30 years of service. He retired in July of 2009. He enjoyed fishing and hunting. He will be greatly missed.
Visitation will be held on Friday, August 30, 2019 from 2:00 pm to 5:00 pm at Newcomer North Chapel (4104 Needmore Rd., Dayton, Ohio 45424). Funeral service will begin at 5 pm.
