Robert B. Bowman Jr., "Bob," age 66 of Dayton, passed away Wednesday, July 10, 2019 at Miami Valley Hospital. He was born March 13, 1953 in Dayton, Ohio, the son of Robert and Mary Bowman Sr..
He is preceded in death by his sister, Yvonne Laycox.
Bob is survived by his wife of 41 years, Julie; sons, Carlos (Marnie) Palara, Jr., Christopher (Megan) Bowman, Sean Bowman; grandchildren, Hanah, Jolena, Hannah, Drew; brother, Curtis (Cathy) Bowman; as well as numerous nieces, nephews and many friends.
Bob is a veteran of the United States Navy. He loved playing guitar and building fast cars.
Visitation will be held on Monday, July 15, 2019 from 11 am to 12 pm at Newcomer North Chapel (4104 Needmore Rd., Dayton, Ohio 45424). Funeral service will begin at 12 pm. Burial will follow in Dayton National Cemetery with military honors.
