Karen Sue Eyler, age 65 of Dayton, passed away peacefully on March 3, 2019. Karen was born in Dayton to the late Charles and Maggie Eyler. Karen worked for many years as a housekeeper.
She loved to have fun and enjoyed playing Bingo, going to the Casino, and finding a great deal at Goodwill and local garage sales. In her free time, she enjoyed fishing with her best friend and partner, Donald.
Karen enjoyed spending time with her loved ones and sharing in conversation and a cup of coffee. She was the matriarch of her family. Karen was a loving, caring, and kind wife, mother, grandmother, and friend. She will be greatly missed and lovingly remembered by all who knew her.
In addition to her parents, Karen was preceded in death by brothers, Gary Eyler and Charles Eyler.
Karen leaves to remember her, her devoted husband of 47 years, Donald Arnold; children, Donald (Melissa) Arnold, Jr., Anthony (Annette) Eyler, Tonya (Marcus) Alston, and Trista (Darrell); grandchildren, Amy Eyler, Reginald Wright, Jr., Michael Mallory, Justin Alston, Dawnesha Eyler, DJ Eyler, Donte'ja Brown, Donyelle Brown, Christopher Eyler, Peter Eyler, Sierra Elizaldi, Michaela Elizaldi, Taylor; sisters-in-law, Martha Shorthair and Barretta Gunter; a host of great-grandchildren, and many other loving relatives and friends.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, March 9, 2019 at Newcomer - North Chapel at 11am. Family will greet friends and loved ones for 2 hours prior (9am - 11am).
