Donald Lee Hock, Native of Dayton, Ohio, went on to be with the Lord at his home in Hawkinsville, GA Feb 24th 2019.
Founder of Don Hock Ministries and served the Lord 40 years singing and preaching the gospel at various restaurants, prisons, churches, nursing homes, throughout State of Ohio, Georgia and Texas. Member of Trinity Baptist Church of Hawkinsville, Georgia. Served in Army for 2 yrs with Honorable Discharge. Don was highly respected and loved and will be terribly missed by many.
Preceded in death by his parents, Minnie and Bryan Hock of Dayton; his son, Donny Hock of Dayton; sister, Luella Hock Brown of Hawkinsville, Ga; and brother, George Hock of Dayton.
Survived by his wife of 26 yrs Ruth (Shackleford) Hock; three daughters, Tonya Huff (Tim Dakin) of Tipp City, OH, Lori Hock of Dayton, OH and Dawn Frith (Ricky) of Dayton OH; special adopted daughter, Brenda Buck (Brad) of Huber Heights, OH; three sons, Danny Hock (Carol) of Fla, Skip Pendleton (Kathy) of Tenn and Chad Hock (Kelli) of Kettering, OH; 16 grandchildren and many great grandchildren. Also included in his children were his fur babies, Max, Heidi, Oreo, Lil' max, Maxine, and Max-c….One brother, Paul Hock (Johnnie) of Hawkinsville, GA; three sisters, Betty Louise Salter of Hawkinsville, GA, Melvina Vaught of Dayton, OH and Delores Mcaffee of Texas City, TX.
Family will receive friends Saturday, March 2, 2019 from 11 a.m. until the time of the funeral service at 1 p.m. at Newcomer North Chapel, 4104 Needmore Rd., Dayton, Ohio, Scott Thompson, officiating. Interment Minnich Cemetery, Union, Ohio.
