Todd Douglas Powell, age 49 of Kettering, passed away Friday, February 1, 2019 at Kettering Medical Center. He was born December 23, 1969 in Kettering, Ohio, the son of Rodney Dean Sr. and Janet K. (Shields) Powell.
Todd was preceded in death by his father, Rodney Sr.
Todd is survived by his mother, Janet; siblings, Rodney D. Powell, Jr., Wendy L. McKnight and nephews, Tyler and Jordan as well as other extended family and friends.
Todd attended Warren County Career Center and graduated class of 1988 from Springboro High School. Todd began working out of high School and held many jobs in the maintenance field. He most recently had worked for AE Fickert, Fire and Restoration. In his spare time, Todd enjoyed RC cars and trucks, motorcycling and off-roading. Todd was a member of the Indian Lake Moose Lodge and will always be remembered as a free-spirit.
Services are private at the convenience of the family and Todd's wishes for cremation are being honored. Memorial contributions may be made to American Diabetes Association at 2451 Crystal Drive, Suite 900, Arlington, VA 2220.
