Sandy Bowlin

Sandy "Dink" Bowlin, age 65 of Dayton, passed away January 27, 2019. She was born September 25, 1953 in Dayton, Ohio to the late Dewey and Wilma Barnett. In addition to her parents, Sandy was preceded in death by her husband, Rodney Bowlin; sister, Marsha Drake; brother, Dewey Barnett; and great-grandson, Brayden Ferguson.

Sandy is survived by her daughters: Danielle Martin and Cindy (Huey) McKinney; grandchildren: Tyler Hoerner, Taylor Hoerner, Chelsie Martin, Kelsie Martin, Shawn McCormick and Lynnsi McKinney; great-grandchildren: Harmonie, Stink, Lyrica and Daxxtin; sister, Kathy Richards; brother, Tim (Dawn) Barnett; many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends, including: Kae and Vickey. She is also survived by her dogs: Marma and Lucky.

Sandy had a courageous battle with breast cancer for 6 years. She loved shopping at Wal-Mart and would find a reason to go there every day. She enjoyed playing pool, cooking, sewing and gardening. She loved taking her grandchildren camping and to Nascar races. Sandy was a very giving and caring person who will be missed by all who loved her.
