Walter L. Bailey Ii

Walter Louis Bailey II age 78, was born on June 4, 1940 to the late Walter Louis Bailey Senior and Lovie Mae Franklin in Montgomery Alabama. He retired after many years of service from Cargill Manufacturing in Dayton Ohio and was a Local Union President and a faithful and longtime member of the Elks Lodge in Dayton Ohio for 45 years.

On Friday January 25, 2019 Walter transitioned from this life to be in the presence of the Lord. He was preceded in death by his parents Walter Louis Bailey Sr., Lovie Mae Franklin, sisters, Virginia Blair, Annette(Joe) Rice and brother William Fedler. He leaves to cherish precious memories with best friend and longtime partner of 40 years Lily White, sisters Barbara (Robert) Rice, Deborah Epps, brother Willie (Jackie) Bailey, daughters, Freda (Bruce) Alexander, Fawn Bailey, Erin Bailey, Natasha White, son, Walter Louis Bailey III. Walter was a granddaddy and PePaw as some of his grandbabies like to call him, to 12 grandchildren and 22 great grandchildren. and a host of nephews, nieces, cousins, other family and friends.

Funeral Services will be held at Bold Believers Church of Christ 1306 Salem Ave. Dayton, Ohio 45406. Saturday, February 2, 2019 11:00 am to 12:00 pm. The family will receive friends one hour prior to service. Interment: West Memorial Garden Cemetery.
