Elizabeth Ballard
1927 – 2019
Elizabeth F. Ballard of Dayton, passed away Saturday January 5, 2019 at Hospice of Dayton. She was born January 5, 1927 in Dayton, Oh to Gustav and Elizabeth Ferenczy.
After attending local schools, Elizabeth spent much of her working career on the production line at Delco Products. After a brief retirement she continued her career at The American Thermometer Company, Early Express and The Mazer Corporation.
A devoted wife and mother Elizabeth was a long time member of Dayton Hungarian Evangelical Reformed Church and most recently a member of Beaver United Church of Christ. Elizabeth was also a member of the Twigs organization, enjoyed bowling, playing bingo and cooking.
Elizabeth was preceded in death by her husband Jack Ballard and parents Gustav and Elizabeth Ferenczy.
She is survived by her daughter Terri (John) Barnard; niece Ruthie Phillips, great nieces Robyne Clark, Susie (David) Sult Crain, Lisa Sult Zellers; great nephews Gary (Michele) Sult Jr, Rick Phillips.
Family will greet friends Friday, January 11, 2019 from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. at Newcomer – Beavercreek Chapel, 3380 Dayton-Xenia Road, Beavercreek Ohio. A service will take place at 11:00 a.m. following visitation.
