Michael A. Lee, age 66 of Dayton, passed away January 3, 2019. He was born February 6, 1952 in Dayton to the late Gail and Ruby (Clayton) Lee. In addition to his parents, Michael was preceded in death by his brothers-in-law, Rick Henderson and Rick Hunt.
He is survived by his loving wife of 21 years, Cathy Lee; daughter, Nicole (Mike) Perry; son, Michael (Stephanie) Wooten; grandchildren, Austin, Desiree, Michael, Devon, Shyanne, Dylan and Savanna; 2 great-grandsons, Jaxon and Dominic; sisters-in-law, Patty, Sheila (Carl), Marie (Daniel), Bonnie (Jerry) and Ruth (Ronnie); numerous nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.
Michael worked for many years at Deka Batteries. He loved going fishing and spending lots of time with his wife and family.
Family will receive friends from 5-8 PM on Tuesday, January 8, 2019 at Newcomer North Chapel, 4104 Needmore Rd. A funeral service will begin at 1:30 PM on Wednesday, January 9 at the funeral home. Interment will follow the service at Dayton Memorial Park Cemetery, Vandalia.
