Hans Soltau, age 70, of Dayton, passed away on Tuesday, January 1, 2019.
Hans was born September 30, 1948 in Odderade, West Germany to the late Herman & Zitta Soltau. He was also preceded in death by his sister, Karin.
Hans is survived by his life partner, Cindy Larkins; daughters, Emily (Matt) Hartshorn and Lauren Soltau (Jon Davis); grandchildren, Ryan, Kayla and Lynzie Hartshorn and Augustus and Ridley Davis; and Cindy's children, Nathan (Emily) MacKendrick, Nicholas (Denise Taylor) and Benjamin (Brooke) Larkins; and their children, Owen and Olivia MacKendrick and Elliana and Brinleigh Larkins.
Hans was a graduate of the Finneytown H.S. class of 1966 and the University of Cincinnati Law School in 1973. He practiced law in the Dayton area for 45 years.
The family will receive friends on Saturday, January 5, 2019 from 5-7pm at Newcomer South Chapel, 3940 Kettering Blvd, Kettering, OH 45439.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the American Cancer Society.
