Mary Louise Garner

Mary Louise Garner, 93, of Dayton, OH passed away peacefully at home on December 31, 2018.
She was born on May 6, 1925 to Jack and Sarah (Walker) Thayer in LaFollette, TN.
Louise was a devoted homemaker for all of her life where she raised 9 children and continued in assisting to help raise her grandchildren.
On September 14, 1946 she married J.T. Garner. Louise and J.T. eventually made Centerville, OH their home.
Louise loved Bingo, church, and traveling. Spending time with her family was her most favorite thing to do.
She was a member of Victory Temple Church in Fairborn, OH.
Louise is survived by her loving Children, Carol Ashurst, Debbie Lackey, Eddie Garner, Thomas (Donna) Garner, and Tammy (Michael) Combs; various Grandchildren and Great Grandchildren.
In addition to her Parents, she was preceded in death by her Husband of 45 years, James Thomas "J.T." Garner; Children, Jerry Wayne Garner, Sarah Rowena Dreamer, Linda Lou Garner, and James Michael Garner.
Interment will take place at Miami Valley Memory Gardens.
A Special Thanks to Thomas and Donna Garner for honoring the dying wishes of J.T. Garner and taking care of his Lucy. Also, to Angie Copley for her time and medical efforts during Louise's final days.
The family would like to extend a special thanks to Miami Valley Hospice for the care and comfort provided to Louise.
