Brian A. Smith, 47, of Bellbrook, OH passed away peacefully at Cleveland Clinic on December 19, 2018, with his devoted wife of 21 years, Julie, by his side. Brian was born on January 13, 1971 to Betty Whitescarver Smith and the late Clifford Ray Smith.
Brian was a lifelong resident of Bellbrook and was very active in the community. He was a successful small business owner of Bellbrook Doors -N- More. Brian was also very dedicated to the Bellbrook Soccer Association as he coached girls soccer for several years and spent countless hours on the soccer field. He adored "his girls" like his own daughters and was respected and loved by his players and parents alike. Brian packed so much life into everything he did. Fishing, hiking, boating, skiing, corn hole and dart league games were his favorite activities. He also loved spending time with his family and many close friends. Brian touched the lives of so many people and will be greatly missed.
Brian leaves behind his loving wife, Julie (Mowell) Smith and their three children, Dalton, Kylie and Landon Smith. He is also survived by his mother Betty Whitescarver Smith, a brother, Greg Smith and a niece, Shelby Smith and her son, Conlee, as well as a host of other relatives and friends he loved as family.
A memorial service will be held at Noon on Saturday, January 12, 2019 at Kettering Assembly of God Church, 2250 E. Stroop Road, Kettering, OH with Pastor Bruce Craig officiating. The family will receive friends on Saturday from 10:00 am until the time of the service.
