Hilton, Robert N. "Bob", 96, formerly of Moraine, passed away December 26, 2018.
He was born in Greenup County, Kentucky to the late Jiles and Agnes (McGinnis) Hilton. He was a member of the Miami Shores Baptist Church, the West Carrollton Masonic Temple, and a member of the American Legion Post 165, for over 50 years. Bob was a proud Army veteran and served in World War II from January 25, 1943 until December 2, 1948. He was an avid fisherman and loved fishing with his family and friends.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Lola M. Hilton, and by his sons, Robert Nathan "Bobby" Hilton Jr., Forrest Wayne Hilton.
Bob is survived by his daughter, Tana Hilton (John); daughter-in-law, Barbara Kelly; grandchildren, Mike Hilton (Wendslea), Colleen Browning (Andy), Bobby Hilton; great-grandchildren, Rebecca Hilton, Nathan Hilton, Tyler Browning (Connor), MacKenzie Browning; great-great grandson, Theodore Browning, and other family and friends.
Visitation will be held on Friday, January 4, 2019 from 5:00 pm until 8:00 pm at Newcomer, South Chapel, 3940 Kettering Blvd. where funeral service will be held on Saturday, January 5, 2019 at 10:00 am. Burial at Evergreen Cemetery.
If desired, donations may be made to the Shriners Hospitals for Children, in Bob's memory.
