Kim Denise Brunner, beloved mother, age 62, of Dayton, passed away Monday, December 17, 2018.
She was born March 16, 1956 in Ft. Collins, CO to the late Roy L. and Betty Jane (Phillips) Weaver. Kim was a loving mother, dedicated nurse and had a drive like no other to better herself for the Lord. She was a member of Living Word Church and enjoyed attending bible studies and being involved in various Life Groups.
Kim's ultimate passion was nursing. She was an extremely dedicated and knowledgeable nurse. Her career spanned more than 35 years in the Dayton area including St. Elizabeth Hospital, the Dayton Heart Hospital, Good Samaritan Hospital and Miami Valley Hospital. Kim was known for getting the job done correctly and efficiently, but at the same time she was known for being a "Boss Lady" in the Cath Lab.
Kim enjoyed attending Broadway plays at the Schuster Center and going to dinner with friends. She was a very proud and stubborn woman with an infectious smile.
Kim is survived by her son, Jeffrey Matthew Brunner; daughter, Amanda Renee Brunner (Alex), and many adored friends and co-workers.
A gathering of family and friends will be held Thursday, December 27, 2018 from 5:00 pm until 7:00 pm at Living Word Church 926 E. National Road, Vandalia, Ohio 45377, where a Memorial Service will follow at 7:00 pm.
