Larry W. Hunter, age 66 passed away peacefully on Sunday, December 2, 2018 at his home in Dayton, Ohio.
He was born on January 29, 1952. Larry was a graduate of Miamisburg High School from the Class of 1970. Larry worked as an exceptional cabinetmaker and wood shop foreman at Wilcon Corporation before retiring in the late 80's.
A member of Southbrook Church, Larry enjoyed camping and fishing but nothing more than spending time with his family. Larry truly lived life to the fullest through simple pleasures. He had an uncanny ability to reach people in a deep and meaningful way. His ability to make everyone laugh will be greatly missed.
Preceded in death by his father, Lindsay L. Hunter. He is survived by his mother, Viola M. Hunter, brother Michael (Carol) Hunter, sister Kathy (Jim) Carr, former wife and mother of their children, Patricia Hunter, children Brian (Angie) Hunter, Scott (Royse) Hunter, grandchildren Kiley, Stevie, Brisen, Molly, Kinsley, Adam and Kash, great-grandchildren, Jaycee and Piper, as well as many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews.
Family and friends are invited to the Newcomer Funeral Home at 3940 Kettering Boulevard, Kettering Ohio 45439 on Friday, December 7 from 9-10:30am. Service immediately following.
