Bonnie Leach Mays, age 87 of Dayton, passed away Monday, November 26, 2018 at Miami Valley Hospital. She was born September 17, 1931 in Wellston, Ohio the daughter of Absalom and Freda Leach.
She is preceded in death by her parents, sisters, Freda Mae Leach, Donna Jennings, Florence Leach, Thelma Colley and Virginia Armstrong.
Bonnie was a voracious reader, loved sports and enjoyed cooking meals for her family. She played a large part in the upbringing and nurturing of her 3 grandchildren. She was a longtime member of Eastmont United Methodist Church.
Bonnie is survived by her husband of 61 years, Henry; son, Henry (Julie) Mays, Jr. and daughter, Elizabeth Mays; grandchildren, Jacob, Kathryn and Matthew.
Private service for Bonnie will be conducted by the family.
