Michael E. Davis

Michael E. Davis, age 46 of Dayton, OH, formerly of Beavercreek, OH passed away Wednesday, October 17, 2018. He was born November 26, 1971 in Columbus, Ohio to Richard and Deanna (Snead) Davis. He married Amy Johnson on October 11, 2017 in Bellbrook, OH.

Michael was a kind, generous, and loving husband and father to his stepdaughters. Michael was always eager to help others, most especially his family. He enjoyed spending his time in the outdoors, surrounded by nature. He loved music, writing poetry, and playing instruments. Michael worked for 25 years in the automotive repair field, primarily with Hendricks Automotive in Huber Heights, and most recently as an assistant manager at Grismer Tire, where he pursued his passion for working on cars. Michael was an avid gun lover and enjoyed his time participating in Ohio Defense Service. He was known for his quick wit, his infectious smile, and his kind and compassionate spirit.

Michael is survived by his wife, Amy; father, Richard and stepmother Karen; a son, Joshua; a daughter, Chandra; stepdaughters, Chelsea, Hannah, Kara, and Tori; grandchildren, Zaylee, Lavayah, and Ryan; sister, Jennifer (Eric) Calhoun; stepbrothers, mother-in-law, Sue Johnson and numerous nieces, nephews, family and friends. Michael is preceded in death by his mother, Deanna; paternal grandparents, Aubrey and Cleo Davis; and maternal grandparents, Herbert and Winnona Snead.
