Janice F. Driskell

Janice F. Driskell, age 74 of Beavercreek, OH passed away Monday, October 1, 2018 at her home. She was born May 24, 1944 in Steubenville, Ohio to Milton and Bertha (Rollins) Bailey. Janice married John Driskell Sr. on December 27, 1968 in Tulsa, Oklahoma.

Janice was a longtime postal employee in the Dayton area, ending her career as a window clerk at the Beavercreek Post Office, where she worked for several years. Janice and John loved to travel, visiting many landmarks over the years, in America and abroad. She loved to visit her neighbors and friends, and especially loved her dogs and cats. Janice loved her family dearly and will be greatly missed by all.

Janice is survived by her loving husband of 50 years John; two sons, Samuel L. Driskell and John A. (Katherine) Driskell Jr.; one grandchild, Samuel Driskell; a brother, James (Peggy) Bailey; and other family and friends. She is preceded in death by her parents.

A visitation will be held on Monday, October 8, 2018 from 2:00 to 4:00 pm at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions - Beavercreek Chapel, 3380 Dayton-Xenia Rd., Beavercreek, Ohio 45432. Funeral Services will follow the visitation at the funeral home. Burial will take place at a later date at the convenience of the family.

In lieu of flowers memorial contributions can be made to the charity of the donor's choice in Janice's memory.
