Betty J. Mills, age 89 of Dayton, passed away September 21, 2018. She was born on October 27, 1928 in Twin Branch, WV to the late Arthur and Tishie (Green) West. In addition to her parents, Betty was preceded in death by her husband, Floyd Mills, Jr.; 7 siblings, Tootsie Trosper, Junior West, Wanda Able, Bobby West, Yvonne West, Barbara King and Jimmy West.
She is survived by her children, Carol Anthony and Floyd (Jeanne) Mills, III; grandchildren, Kevin (Lori) Anthony, Mark (Krista) Anthony, Floyd (Shanna) Mills, IV. and David (Stephanie) Mills; great-grandchildren, Adelyn (Eric) Wojciechowski, Alex Anthony, David Anthony, Ana Anthony, Sarah Mills, Emily Mills and Brenden Staton; siblings, Thelma Snyder and Jack (Doris) West; numerous nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.
Betty worked and retired from Disney World in Florida. She loved spending time with her family and friends.
Family will receive friends from 11 AM to 1 PM on Friday, September 28, 2018 at Newcomer North Chapel, 4104 Needmore Rd. where a funeral service will begin at 1 PM. Interment will follow the service at Dayton Memorial Park Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to the Wounded Warriors, in Betty's memory.
