Bill H. Russell, age 74, of Germantown, passed away on Saturday, August 18, 2018.
Bill was born on November 9, 1943 in Portsmouth, OH. He retired as a project manager from Mechanical Systems of Dayton. Bill enjoyed playing golf and cards with friends in both Florida and Dayton. From time to time Bill and Diana would go to the horse races at Tampa Bay. On any given day Bill could be found watching the kids play their sports.
Bill is survived by his loving wife, Diana Russell; parents, William H. Sr. & Helen Rose Russell; brother, Paul (Sharon) Russell; sons, Bill Russell III, Darrell (Chasity) Russell, and Shawn (Adrienne) Russell; grandchildren, Owen, Gabrielle, Paige, Corey, Samantha, and Brady; step-children, Randy (Tammy) Collins, David (Jessica) Collins, Scott Collins, and Tiffany (Brian) Moore; step-grandchildren, Brianna, Makenna, Trevor, Ryan, Kayla, Katie, Avery, and Carson; and many other relatives and friends.
The family will receive friends on Sunday, August 26, 2018 from 3-5pm at Newcomer South Kettering Chapel, 3940 Kettering Blvd, Kettering, OH 45439. A memorial service will follow at 5pm.
