Wanda Mitchell, age 60 of Dayton, Ohio, passed away Thursday, July 12, 2018. She was born September 4, 1957 in Dayton, Ohio the daughter of Joseph and Doris Mitchell.
Wanda was a loving, caring mother, grandmother and friend. She would do anything to help anybody. She loved to cook and Karaoke music. She was a strong, independent woman who will be dearly missed by all who loved her.
She is preceded in death by her mother, Doris J. Mitchell; brother and James L. Mitchell, Sr.
Wanda will be missed by her companion, George Featters; daughter, Doris J. Mitchell; two sons, Keith Mitchell and David Langworthy; step-daughter, Tyra (Duane) Fetters-Dabney; grandchildren, Nina Mitchell, Talton Hawk, Shawn Young, Jr. and Sonia Mitchell; father, Joseph Mitchell, Sr.; siblings, Joseph (Sheila) Mitchell, Jr., Patricia (Paul) Erickson and Kathy (Mike) Chism; sister-in-law, Beth Mitchell; and many nieces, nephews and cousins.
Family will receive friends Saturday, July 21, 2018 from 9:30 a.m. until the time of the funeral service at 10:30 a.m. at Newcomer North Chapel, 4104 Needmore Rd., Dayton, Ohio. Burial will immediately follow the service at Forest Hills Memorial Gardens.
