James Lee Motley

James Lee Motley, 76, of Riverside, Ohio passed away peacefully at home on Saturday, June 30, 2018.

He was born in Dayton, Ohio on February 9, 1942, the son of the late William R. and Elza Spradling Motley, and was a graduate of Ezel School in Morgan County, KY

He was a retired inspector at General Motors, and a member of Cornerstone Baptist Church.

He is survived by his loving wife of 41 years, Wanda; three sons, Greg (Rilla) Liles of Sandy, Utah, James Lee Motley Jr. of Trotwood, Jeffrey (Carmen) Liles of Mt. Sterling, KY; one daughter, Monica (Jerry) Bridenbaugh of Pitsburg, Ohio; and two sisters, Phyllis (Matt) Blanton of Wellington, KY and Judy (Foy) Back of North Port, Florida; twelve grandchildren, Michelle Liles, Amanda Liles, Krista Liles, Paige Stamper, Tucker Liles, Trent Liles, Grace Liles, Nate Liles, Brittany Miller, Karina Smith, Jeremy Bridenbaugh, and Miranda Bridenbaugh; one great grandchild, Paxton Miller; along with brothers- and sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, cousins and many friends.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two brothers, Jack (Elma) and William Motley; and three sisters, Maxine Cockrell Daughtry Ferguson, Jerlyn (Larry) Chalin and Barbara (Ray) Garland. He enjoyed spending time with his family.

Cremation services provided by Newcomer Funeral Home in Beavercreek, Ohio.

A private memorial service will be held at a later date.
