Terry E. Barlow, age 78 of Xenia, OH, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, May 30, 2018 at LifeCare Hospitals of Dayton. He was born May 8, 1940 in Dayton, Ohio to David and Myrtle (Turner) Barlow. He married Maxine Clark on May 31, 1975 in Northern Kentucky.
Terry retired from the Wilberforce University Police Force and proudly served his country in the Ohio National Guard and the US Navy. He was a lifetime member of the Fraternal Order of Police and the Xenia VFW. He loved and cared for his family and will be greatly missed by all.
Terry is survived by his wife Maxine; two sons, Terry L. (Phyllis) Barlow and Darrin (Kim) Barlow; three step-daughters, Cindy (Anthony) Smith, Tammy Johnson and Tracy Johnson (God's special children); eight grandchildren and three great grandchildren; and other family and friends. He is preceded in death by his parents; a sister, Mary Ruth Corbene.
Services will be held at a later date at the convenience of the family.
