Marjorie E. Lovett, age 97, of Xenia passed away May 26, 2018 at Greenewood Manor in Xenia, Ohio.
She was born March 23, 1921 in Dayton, Ohio to the late Joseph and Emma (Bender) Kinzig.
Marjorie was a graduate of Fairmont High School and worked for a few years as a secretary at Bellows Valve Air. She was primarily a homemaker and a dedicated wife and mother.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband Robert Lovett in 1997; 3 siblings Marcella Benson, Ellsworth "Bud" Kinzig and Lillian Norris; nephew Jimmy Kinzig and other family members.
Marjorie is survived by her son Clifford Lovett and her daughter Marilyn Lovett; brother-in-law Eugene Norris, and several nieces and nephews and their families.
She will be dearly missed after her long and full life.
A Celebration of Marjorie's life will be held Wednesday, May 30, 2018 at 1:00 pm at Newcomer Funeral Home, 3380 Dayton-Xenia Road in Beavercreek, Ohio 45432. Burial will follow at Dayton Memorial Park in Dayton, Ohio.
Marjorie's family will greet friends from 11:00 am-1:00 pm on Wednesday at the funeral home.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to any animal shelter/rescue of your choice.
