Catherine M. Wooten

Catherine M. Wooten "Cathy", age 66 of Dayton, passed away April 29, 2018 at The Hospice of Dayton. She was born January 8, 1952 in Dayton to the late Horace M. Walker and Mary A. Neal. In addition to her parents, Cathy was preceded in death by her brother, Tony Walker; her beloved dog, Presley; step-father, Louis Neal; grandfather, Phillip Parker, grandmother, Chrystal Parker and grandmother, Dolly Parker.

She is survived by her 2 sons, Mark (Melissa) Houdieshell and David (Leighanna) Houdieshell; grandchildren, Brittany, Brett, McKenzie and Alex; great-grandchildren, Ezekiel, Malachi and Asher; sisters, Barbara (Phillip) DeLorme and Phillis Smith; uncle, Phillip Hershel (Evelyn) Parker and numerous nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.

Cathy work and retired from Dayton Children's Medical Center after 38 years of service. She loved working in her flower bed and garden. Cathy was an avid Michigan Wolverines fan, Go Blue!

Family will receive friends from 9:30-10:30 AM on Thursday, May 3, 2018 at Newcomer North Chapel, 4104 Needmore Rd. where a funeral service will begin at 10:30 AM with Pastor Jack Little officiating. Interment will follow at Willow View Cemetery.
