Josephine Mary Herring

Josephine Mary Herring, age 68 of Dayton, passed away Wednesday, April 18, 2018 at Miami Valley Hospital. She was born March 29, 1950 in Cleveland, Ohio the daughter of Angelo and Louise Favitta.
She is preceded in death by her parents and brother, Anthony Favitta.
She loved gardening, landscaping, attending opera performances, live music and traveling.
She was a member of the Italian Club in Dayton, OH. She was an avid learning individual and believed in continuing education courses. She was a proud graduate of the University of Maryland with a Bachelors degree in Business Management.
Josephine is survived by her husband, Robert Herring; daughter, Jennifer Anne (Colt) Inman; son, Joseph Robert Herring; brothers, Thomas (Linda) Favitta and John Favitta; two grandchildren, Ireland and Inara Inman; She is also survived by numerous family and friends.

Funeral Service will be held at April 25, 2018 at 1:00 pm at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions - Beavercreek Chapel 3380 Dayton-Xenia Rd., Beavercreek, Ohio 45432. Family will receive friends April 25, 2018 from 12:00 pm to 1:00 pm at the funeral home. Interment Fairfield Cemetery.
