David Bryan Gearheart

David Bryan Gearheart, age 49 of Dayton,Ohio, passed away Thursday, April 5, 2018. He was born June 12, 1968 in Paducah, Kentucky.

He is preceded in death by his mother, Betty J. Lewis; father, Thomas J. Gearheart; brother, Donald W. Gearheart and sister, Cynthia L. Hatfield.

Dave will be missed by his loving sister, Bonita "Bo" (Vern) Oney; two brothers, Larry (Annie) Gearheart and Thomas (Darla) Gearheart; many nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.

Dave's entire world revolved around his mother, family and friends and his beloved dog, Patches. He was a gentle, kind, loving son, brother, uncle, friend and companion who loved life to it's fullest.

Dave was an avid fisherman and had an innate love for nature and animals. Dave was employed by Montgomery Paper as a forklift operator for many years.


Family will receive friends Saturday, April 14, 2018 from 2 p.m. until the time of the memorial service at 4 p.m. at Newcomer South Chapel, 3940 Kettering Blvd., Kettering.
