Thomas F. "Fred" Goble, age 77 of Dayton, OH, passed away at home with his family by his side on Sunday, April 1, 2018. He was born April 25, 1940 in Prenter, West Virginia to James and Faye (Doles) Goble. He married Charlene Gilbert on March 31, 1962 in Dayton, OH.
Fred loved to fish and participated in fishing tournaments throughout Ohio. He was an avid pool player and won a few 8 ball tournaments. Fred loved to watch NASCAR races and was an huge Dale Earnhardt Sr. fan. He loved his family dearly, especially his grandchildren, and will be greatly missed by all.
Fred is survived by his wife of 56 years Charlene; a son, Thomas M. "Mike" (Susan) Goble; two grandchildren, Nikki (Mike) Prego and Robert (Sandy) Goble; four great grandchildren; Madison, Isaiah, Layla and Miles; two sisters, Maryanne Stepato and Sue (Bill) Garron; a first cousin, Minnis (Joyce) Brown; and other numerous family and friends. He is preceded in death by his parents.
A private burial will be conducted at the convenience of the family.
