Connie Sue Netherton

Connie Sue Netherton, age 61 of Dayton, passed away peacefully surrounded by family on April 1, 2018. She was born in Gainsboro, TN to the late Walter and Mabel Smith on June 9, 1956. Connie graduated from Patterson Coop in 1974 and then attended Sinclair Community College. After completing her education, Connie went on to work for Reynolds & Reynolds for many years. Connie was a longtime member of Haynes Street Church of Christ. She was a faithful and passionate servant of the Lord. She took great pride in her family. Connie was a loving, caring, and compassionate, mother, grandmother, sister, and friend.

Connie leaves to cherish her memory, son, Justin (Heather)Netherton; grandson, Justin Netherton, Jr.; sister, Betty (Paul) Archer; brother, Raymond Smith; many nieces and nephews, Lisa, Chris, Jody, Michael, and Misty; and many cousins and friends.

A Celebration of Connie's Life will be held on Thursday, April 5, 2018 at Newcomer-North Chapel at 10am. Visitation will be held for one hour prior (9am-10am). Burial to follow at Woodland Cemetery, Dayton.
