Robert Adam Hart

Robert Adam Hart, age 85 of Trotwood, passed away February 28, 2018. He was born March 20, 1932 in Dayton, Ohio to the late Frank and Clara Hart. In addition to his parents, Bob was preceded in death by siblings: Selena Carter, John Hart, Eldon Hart and Kate Bare.

Bob is survived by his former spouse, Virginia Hart; children: Robbie Hart, Pam Poppe, Donna (Brian) Shank, Cindy (David) Renfro, Terri (Dan) Johnson and Tim Hart; 15 grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren; sisters: Clara Thies and Mary Lou Weaver; many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Bob was a veteran of the U.S. Marine Corps during the Korean War. He was Co-Owner of Denny's Body Shop. Lifelong member of Precious Blood Catholic Church and was a member of the American Legion Post # 613. Bob enjoyed boating and spending time with his family, he truly will be missed by all who knew him.

Visitation will be held from 9:00 - 10:30 am on Tuesday, March 6, 2018 at Precious Blood Catholic Church, 4961 Salem Avenue, Dayton, Ohio, where the Mass of Christian Burial will begin at 10:30 am. Father Timothy Knepper, Celebrant. Burial and military honors will be held at Dayton National Cemetery at 1:30 pm. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in Bob's memory to the Alzheimer's Association. Arrangements by Newcomer North Chapel, 4104 Needmore Road.
