Peggy Jo Easterling

Peggy Jo Easterling, age 74 of Xenia, OH passed away Thursday, February 15, 2018 at Greene Memorial Hospital. She was born September 18, 1943 in Spring Valley, Ohio to Franklin and Pauline (Hunt) Rittenhouse. She married Ernest Easterling June 17, 1970 in Cannel City, Kentucky.

Peggy Jo loved football, especially watching the Cincinnati Bengals. She was the "Rock" of the family, loved to cook and especially loved her grandchildren. Peggy Jo was active member of the Church of God in Xenia, was a great listener and loved listening to Christian and Country music. She loved her family dearly and will be greatly missed by all.

Peggy is survived by her husband, Ernest; three sons, Michael Shane, Brian and John Easterling; twelve grandchildren; four great grandchildren; a sister, Carolyn; many nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews; and other family and friends. She is preceded in death by her parents; a daughter, Tammy; a son, Wayne; two sisters, Janice and Linda; and a brother, Kenny.

A Funeral Service will be held on Thursday, February 22, 2018 at 12:00 pm at Church of God, 760 E 2nd St, Xenia, Ohio 45385. A visitation will be held two hours prior to service at the church from 10:00 am to 12:00 pm. Burial will follow at Spring Valley Cemetery
