Betty Christine Brantley Schwenk, age 84 of Huber Heights, formerly of Highland Springs, VA, passed away February 16, 2018. She was born January 20, 1934 in Spring Hope, NC to the late Alvin Preston and Aggie Belle Brantley. In addition to her parents, Betty was preceded in death by her husband, Carl Joseph Schwenk, Sr.; sons: Donald Greg Schwenk, Sr. and Jeffrey Alan Schwenk, Sr.; brothers: Donald, William, Charles "Buddy" and P.A.; and sisters: Magdalene and Tootsie.

Betty is survived by her children: Charles Joseph (Patricia) Schwenk, Sr., Deborah Elmer, Cindy Schwenk (Francisco S.) Garcia, Belle Elizabeth Schwenk, Carl Joseph Schwenk, Jr. and Brian Keith (Lucia) Schwenk, Sr.; many grandchildren and great-grandchildren; sisters: Mildred and Helen; many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

A graveside service will be held at Washington Memorial Cemetery in Sandston, VA at a later date. Contributions may be made in Betty's memory to the Alzheimer's Association.
