Theresa Elizabeth King, 83, of Moraine, passed away on December 31, 2017 after complications from a stroke at Hospice of Dayton. She was born on November 7, 1934 to the late Samuel and Alice (Rodman) Karshner in Coshocton, OH. Theresa worked for many years for National City Mortgage and became well known for her beautiful cakes she would bring in to work. In 1959, after meeting at Liberal Markets, she married the love of her life, Richard A. King, Sr. and together they raised 4 children. They were married for 48 years before his passing in 2007. Theresa is survived by her loving children, Rick King, Thomas King, Mary King, and Kathleen King, as well as grandchildren, Jordan and Tyler King. In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by her sisters, Dorothy (Ring) and Catherine (Decker) and niece, Kathy Jean Hill (Decker). She was an avid Dayton Flyers fan and enjoyed get togethers, music, and bowling. Theresa also loved a good game of Euchre and a strong cup of coffee. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, January 9, 2018 from 9:00 - 10:00 am at St. Joseph Catholic Church, 411 E. 2nd St., Dayton, OH 45402 followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 am.
