Charles C. Gillum, age 88, of West Carrollton, passed away on Saturday, December 30, 2017.
Charles was born on September 1, 1929 in Jeff, KY to the late Robert & Angeline Gillum. Charles proudly served in the U.S. Army, where he received a Purple Heart Medal.
He was also preceded in death by his wife, Patricia Gillum.
Charles is survived by his children, Gary (Betty) Gillum and Barb (Joe) Everette; grandchildren, Amy, Charles, Christa (Scott) Lowery, Lindsey (Brad) Unger and Robert Schroeder; several great-grandchildren; and many other relatives and friends.
The family will receive friends on Friday, January 5, 2018 from 10-11am at Newcomer South Kettering Chapel, 3940 Kettering Blvd. At 11am we will process to Miami Valley Memory Gardens for a service in their chapel.
