Verda Alice Smith

Verda Smith passed away December 24, 2017 in Casa Grande, AZ. Verda was born February 22, 1927, in Artville, Kentucky, to Nannie and Burns Cox. Prior to moving to Arizona in 2003, Mrs Smith resided for many years in Dayton, Ohio, where she was employed at Gentile Air Force Station.

Verda is survived by her daughter, Beverly; a grandson, Brent Brown (Joey); a granddaughter, Britta Elder (Jason), five great-grandchildren and a host of nieces and nephews. Besides her parents, Verda was pre-deceased by her husband of over 50 years, Ollie "Bill" Smith, son-in-law Lewis Brown and fourteen brothers and sisters.

Services 11:00 a.m. Saturday, December 30 at Newcomer Beavercreek Chapel, 3380 Dayton Xenia Road. The family will receive friends one hour before the service.
