Sapienza, Paul D., 77, of Kettering, passed away November 29, 2017.
He was born April 24, 1940 in Astoria, New York to the late Philip Peter and Josephine Rose (Riccardella) Sapienza. Paul was a proud Veteran of the US Marine Corps. He retired from NCR after more than 30 years. He belonged to the American Legion Post 707 and the VFW Post 5434 where he enjoyed watching many football games with his friends.
In addition to his parents, Paul was preceded in death by his wife, Lynda Sapienza, brother, Philip "Chubby" Sapienza and by his son in law, H. Lloyd Lyons. He is survived by his three daughters, Ginamarie Sapienza and husband, Jerome Sacher, Loren Lyons, Stacy Ann Knapp; 10 grandchildren, David, Gianna, Jessica, Taylor, Paul, Christopher, Caycie, Chelsea, Valentina, and Antonio; one great granddaughter, Anastasia, his sister, Rose Buonaiuto and many other relatives and friends.
An expression of sympathy may be made to the Leukemia Lymphoma Society.
