Diana Lynn Martin

Diana Lynn Martin of Tipp City, Ohio passed away at 12 noon on November 27, 2017, at her home surrounded by her family. She struggled with ALS the past two and half years. Diana was an active member of the ALS Association, Southern Ohio Chapter.
Born May 30, 1947 in Springfield, Ohio, she graduated from Springfield North High School, class of 1965. She worked at K-Mart in Huber Heights and the office of Dr. Ro in Huber Heights. Diana volunteered 19 years at the Benjamin & Marian Schuster Performing Arts Center and Victoria Theatre Association in Dayton, Ohio. She enjoyed many forms of crafts including jewelry making and painting. She arranged the monthly Rose Petal luncheons, loved the Euchre Club, playing golfing and spending the winter months in Florida. She hosted fantastic holiday parties for her grandchildren and relatives. She was a wonderful wife, mother, grandmother, daughter, sister and friend. If you knew Diana you loved her.
She is preceded in death by her father, Darrell Richardson and her brother, Michael Richardson.
She will be deeply missed by her surviving family; her mother, Mary Richardson, her husband, Bill of over 50 years of marriage; children Steve (Kerry) Martin and Bryan Martin, grandchildren, Shawn, Lauren, Blake, Rachel, Calli, Bailey and Shelby; siblings, Linda (Ron) Krichbaum, Gary (Donna) Richardson; numerous nieces, nephews and many friends.
Visitation will be on Friday, December 1, 2017 at Sulphur Grove United Methodist Church, 7505 Taylorsville Rd., Huber Heights, Ohio, from 2:00 p.m. - 4:00 p.m. Pastor Barry Baughman officiating from 4:00 p.m. - 4:30 p.m.
If desired, contributions may be made to ALS Association, Southern Ohio Chapter, 1170 Old Henderson Rd., Columbus, OH 43220, in Diana's memory.
