Jennifer Hocker

Jennifer L. Hocker, age 37 of Sidney, formerly of Englewood, passed away November 3, 2017. She was born August 9, 1980 in Dayton. She was preceded in death by her grandparents: Linwood and Jane Bell of Dayton, grandfather Max Hocker, and special aunt, Thelma Kleiner.

Jenni is survived by her father, Guy Hocker; mother, Linda Hocker; brother, Christopher Hocker; fiance, James Kleiner, grandmother Etta Hocker; many beloved aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. She is also survived by her Godchildren: Justice Ellis and Trevor Chase.

Jenni attended Northmont High School. She graduated from the University of Phoenix, where she obtained a Bachelor's Degree in Psychology and Social Services. Jenni had a great love for animals. She enjoyed caring for others and had a heart of gold.

Visitation will be held from 5-8 pm on Tuesday, November 7, 2017 at Newcomer North Chapel, 4104 Needmore Road, where the funeral service will be held at 10:00 am on Wednesday. Burial to follow at Dayton Memorial Park Cemetery. Contributions may be made in Jenni's memory to the Shelby County Humane Society.
