Robert Taulbee, age 69 of Dayton, passed away October 31, 2017. He was born on May 30, 1948 in Winchester, KY to his late father, Ova Taulbee and his mother, Opal (Young) Taulbee. In addition to his father, Robert was preceded in death by his brother, Michael Ray; his sister, Rita Sue and his former wife & love of his life, Ruie Lechleidner.
He is survived by his 5 children, Donna Marie (Kevin) Darsey, Hope Renee Wright, Michelle Lynn (Craig) Lewis, Christopher (Missie) Taulbee and Tina Nicole Taulbee; 12 grandchildren; 8 great-grandchildren; mother, Opal; siblings, Harold (Becky, deceased) Taulbee Sr., Mona Davis, Paul Taulbee, Marnita Taulbee and Walter Taulbee; nephews, Jerry Taulbee, Harold Taulbee Jr., Anthony Taulbee, Matthew (Kelly) Taulbee and numerous extended family members.
Robert proudly served as a fire fighter for the City of Trotwood and Harrison Township. He worked and retired from Plating Technology in Dayton after many years of service.
Family will receive friends from 12:30 to 1:30 PM on Friday, November 3, 2017 at Newcomer North Chapel, 4104 Needmore Rd. where a funeral service will begin at 1:30 PM with Pastor John Becker officiating. Interment will follow the service at Willow View Cemetery, Dayton.
