Joel Lehmkuhl Iii
January 5, 1967 — October 20, 2017
Lehmkuhl, Joel Carl, III, age 50, of Dayton, passed away peacefully at home on October 20, 2017.
Joel attended Kettering Schools and went on to start a small business, "Material Take Offs". He was also a dedicated Dayton Daily Newspaper carrier for decades. He was a member of a traveling ice hockey team in his youth and loved the Cincinnati Reds.
He was a father, son, brother, and uncle. Joel had many obstacles in life and had finally overcome his greatest one. He died with dignity, full of peace, love, and happiness and is reunited with his young daughter, Christel.
He will be missed and always loved by many, especially his mother, Karen Broughton, sister, Pamela Leonard, brother in law, Bill Leonard, nephews, Mark Brewer, Jr., July Leonard; niece, Chelsea Brewer; and brother, Rodney Broughton.
Visitation will be held from 6:00pm until 8:00pm on Wednesday, October 25, 2017 at Newcomer Funeral Home 3940 Kettering Blvd. Graveside service, 10:00am Thursday, October 26, 2017 at Calvary Cemetery 1625 Calvary Ave., Dayton, OH 45409.
