Robert Lee Haack

Robert Lee Haack, 82, of Springfield, passed away October 3, 2017. Robert was born in Dayton, Ohio on April 6, 1935 to the late Chalmer and Alma Haack. Robert retired from Delco Moraine after over 30 years of service. He was a member of the Forest Ridge Baptist Church for many years. In his free time he enjoyed drawing, singing, flying and spending time with family and friends.

In addition to his parents, Robert was preceded in death by his loving wife of 34 years, Carole Haack; brothers, Donald, Rodger; and sister, Joyce.

He is survived by his son, Daniel (Dawn) Haack; daughters, Lisa (Duane) Compton, Debbie (Barry) Gebhart; grandchildren, Cooper Haack, Caitlin Haack, Zachary Compton, Hannah Compton, Jeremy (Natasha) Gebhart, Ryan (Meredith) Gebhart, Jacob Gebhart, Samuel (Andrenna) Gebhart; great grandchildren, Chloe, Josiah, Sophie, Mollie, Abbie, Elisha, Logan, Levi, Hudson, Avery, Grady, Ryder, Rory; sister, Harriet Schwarzman; and several other relatives and friends.

A visitation will be held on Saturday, October 7, 2017 from 10:00 am-11:00 am at Newcomer Funeral Home, 3380 Dayton-Xenia Road, Beavercreek, where funeral services will begin at 11:00 am. Burial will follow at Dayton Memorial Park.
