Jorjana Kay Huber of Dayton, passed away peacefully on Thursday, September 14, 2017, surrounded by family. She was born in Columbus, Ohio to Paul and Linda Lloyd on June 19, 1968. Jorjana graduated from Independence High School in Columbus. She met her best friend and future husband, John Huber, in 1986 and they were married in 1989. Jorjana worked at Evangel Academy for many years.
She was very involved in ministry at her church, Faith Christian Fellowship; teaching Sunday school, youth leadership, worship team, missions, food pantry, and compassion ministry. She was a compassionate and loving woman, who never met a stranger and spread love and joy to all she touched. Jorjana was a caring wife, mother, sister, daughter, aunt, and friend. She will be greatly missed by all who loved her.
Jorjana was preceded in death by her father, Paul Lloyd and father-in-law, Ray Mitchell.
Jorjana leaves to cherish her memory, devoted husband of 28 years, John Huber; children, Jordan Huber, Justin Huber, Jason Huber, and Jana Huber; mother, Linda Lloyd; sister, Denita (John) Crum; brother, Brian (Naomi) Lloyd; brothers-in-law, Jeff (Marcia) Huber and Joe (Pamela) Mitchell; mother-in-law, Carol Mitchell; niece and nephews, Annabella, Matthew, Seth, Bryce, Christian, JC, and Josh; dear friends, Jewel Mattingly, Roxanna Quinn, and Cathy Moore; and many other loving relatives and friends.
The family would like to express their gratitude to the staff, nurses, and doctors at Ohio's Hospice of Dayton for all their compassion, love, and care during this difficult time.
A visitation will take place at Faith Christian Fellowship on Sunday, September 17, 2017 from 3pm - 8pm. A Going Home Service will be held at the church on Monday, Sept. 18, 2017 at 1pm. Burial to follow at Calvary Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Jorjana's memorial fund through the Church.
