Gary Lee Price, 66, of Miami Township, passed away September 3, 2017 at home.
He was born December 18, 1950 in Dayton, Ohio to Clayton Peter Price and Frances Evans Armstrong. Gary spent some of his childhood in the OSSO/OVCH Home in Xenia, Ohio. He worked as a Computer Programmer for WPAFB and received numerous awards. Gary then went on to work at Children's Medical Center as an Analyst. He was an avid OSU and Cincinnati Bengals fan. Gary enjoyed the outdoors, gardening, and birdwatching. He was also an animal lover and participated in numerous Volksmarches.
Gary was a loving husband, father and grandfather. He is survived by his wife of 45 years, Karen (Sidenstick) Price; 2 sons, Jason Robert Price and wife, Catlin Liliana (Crawford) Price, Gary Lee Price II and wife, Andrea (Rainey) Price; 5 grandchildren, Caitlin, Rachael, Emily, Ethan, and Alexander; 1 great-granddaughter, Riley. Gary is also survived by 5 brothers, Ron, Gene, Ricky, John, and Tom; 1 sister, Judy and numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
In addition to his parents, Gary was preceded in death by 2 sisters, Ruth and Diana.
Visitation will be held from 12:00pm until 1:00pm on Saturday, September 9, 2017 at Newcomer Funeral Home 3940 Kettering Blvd, where service will follow at 1:00pm. Burial at Miami Corwin Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the National Kidney Foundation in Gary's memory.
