Carpenter, Barbara L., "Barb", age 82, of West Carrollton, went home to be with the Lord on August 30, 2017.
She was born August 3, 1935 in St. Paris, Ohio to the late Hugh F. and Mildred Naomi Ginn. She was a devoted servant of the Lord and was a loyal member of the Memorial United Methodist Church in West Carrollton for many years.
She will leave to mourn her daughter, Christi Bame; son, David (Debbie) Carpenter; step daughter, Susan Story; 3 grandchildren, Heather, Shonda and Jeremy; 7 great-grandchildren; 3 great-great grandchildren; brother, Hugh "Sonny" (Nancy) Ginn; sister, Linda(Mort) Pence; dear friends, Tim (Charla) Layer; many nieces, nephews, friends and her beloved dog, Maggie May.
Memorial service will be held at a later date with interment in Evergreen Cemetery, St. Paris, Ohio.
Arrangements in care of Newcomer Funeral Home, South Chapel.
