Josephine H. West, age 91 of Huber Heights, passed away Friday, August 18, 2017 at Hospice of Dayton. She was born July 24, 1926 in South Charleston, West Virginia.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 71 years, William; her parents and her sisters.
Josephine is survived by her children, William J., Jackie (Alan), Robert and Donna (Brian); 5 grandchildren; 4 great-grandchildren; and a host of other family and friends.
Josephine was an active member of Bath Presbyterian Church. She was a longtime bowler at Marian Lanes and a superior bridge player.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, August 27, 2017 from 1 PM to 3 PM at Newcomer Funeral Home - North Chapel, 4104 Needmore Rd., Dayton, OH 45424 where the funeral service will begin at 3 PM. She will be laid to rest at Dayton National Cemetery in a private ceremony.
