Doris "Jean" Cox

Doris "Jean" Cox, 85, of Beavercreek, passed away July 29, 2017. Doris was born in Stout, Ohio on March 26, 1932 to the late Floyd and Elma Wolfe. She was a member of Evangel Church of God. In her free time she enjoyed cleaning and spending time with her family.
In addition to her parents, Doris was preceded in death by her loving husband of over 50 years, Clarence Cox; sons, Allen Cox, Gary Cox; 4 brothers; and 2 sisters.
She is survived by her daughter in law, Darlene Cox; sister, Catherine (Robert) Shively; sister in law, Della Wolfe; and numerous nieces and nephews.
A funeral service will be held at 1pm on Friday, August 4, 2017 at Newcomer Funeral Home, 3380 Dayton-Xenia Road in Beavercreek. Burial will follow at Mt. Zion Shoup Cemetery.
