Joyce E. Simpson

Joyce E. Simpson, Age 80, Beavercreek, OH. Passed away Monday, July 3, at Trinity Community of Beavercreek. She graduated from Hughes High School, Cincinnati, OH., and attended the University of Cincinnati. Throughout her life she held various secretarial and managerial positions, the most recent as Secretary and Office Manager for Hogue, Huntington and Brown in Fairborn, OH. Joyce enjoyed home decorating, gardening, modeling, traveling and playing bridge with friends. She especially loved caring for her Scottie and Poodle pets, Mimi, Licorice and Annie.Joyce is survived by her devoted husband of 61 years, Ora L. Simpson, Col. USAF Retired and son, David Simpson of Beavercreek. Family will greet friends on Tuesday, July 11 at 12:00 pm at Newcomer Funeral Home, Beavercreek Chapel, 3380 Dayton-Xenia Road, Beavercreek. Funeral services will follow at 1:00 p.m. Burial will be at the VA Cemetery, Dayton, OH. Family would like to thank the staff at Trinity Community of Beavercreek for their loving care of Joyce the past nine months.
